RADIAL PRODI PROFESSIONAL PASSIVE DIRECT BOX
Description
Radial's Pro DI is a passive direct box that combines exceptional audio performance with solid construction, making it the ideal direct box for stage and studio use.
The heart of the ProDI is a custom Radial transformer. It features an exceptionally high 140kΩ input impedance to reduce loading while allowing the ProDI to handle extreme signal levels at all frequencies without distortion. This is further enhanced by an internal mu-metal shield to protect against electromagnetic fields that can cause distortion in unshielded transformers.
This compact direct box begins with its skeleton of 14-gauge I-beam steel for rigidity and a unique design to create a protective zone around the switches and connectors. Glass-reinforced nylon connectors and high-duty switches combine with a high-spec PCB and internal RF isolation to provide durability and noise-free performance. A full, non-slip bottom cushion provides both mechanical and electrical isolation to further protect against the rigors of professional touring.
