With the launch of the closed-back DT 700 PRO X, we are introducing circumaural studio headphones that mark the beginning of a new era for the long-established Heilbronn-based company. While our classics from the PRO X series are considered benchmarks in professional studios around the world, the PRO line is suitable for flexible use both in the studio and on the go. All this is made possible by the STELLAR.45 driver, which reproduces the best studio-quality sound at full volume without distortion, using all playback devices.

The STELLAR.45 sound transducer, developed and produced in Heilbronn, Germany, delivers that proven dynamic sound at previously unattainable levels of studio headphone-class performance. This is thanks to the neodymium ring magnet and high-tech copper-clad wire. The balance between electrical conductivity and cable weight is unique. In combination with the developed three-layer speaker diaphragm with an integrated damping layer, a highly efficient driver system has been created that works superbly in all playback devices.

The innovative diaphragm structure controls the axial movement of the voice coil and ensures it remains securely positioned in the magnet space even during high oscillations. Another benefit is the wide, natural frequency response. The transducer's rapid response and detailed transient response, produced by the coil's low weight, create a consistently reliable and distortion-free sound, even at high sound pressure levels.
